Help

I don't know if anyone reads this anymore, cause quite frankly I wouldn't. But I'm married and need a new look and name to my blog. Suggestions needed. Help!

Birthday.

Hey everyone, it's my birthday! Feel free to drop in and wish me a happy birthday, dedicate a blog post to me, or whatever you feel would be a great way to honor me on my big 20! I'd like to thank my many blog followers for your faithful support on my poor blogging, and for not giving up on me completely yet. Let's not talk about how I didn't complete half the things on my list of things I wanted to do this last year on my 19th birthday, and realize that I'm just not a list maker. I'm not. As much I would love to be one I'm too much of a free spirit to plan out things I want to do in my life. So here's to another free spirited year of my life! Happy Birthday to me!

Friday the 13th

Okay okay, I know this was so last month, BUT my Friday the 13th was kind of what every Friday the 13th should be like. Power went out at Dillard's for 2.5 hours, and then they finally sent us home early. WAHOO! And then I told Jenna we needed to document this moment, so naturally I tried to take a picture of both of us in the back corner eating chocolate in the dark, and this is what came of it.

•  I eat cereal and pizza for every meal during the week. (Bless my mother who feeds me real food on weekends).

• Food probably consumes 80% percent of my thoughts. I should really try to change that.
• I already posted 15 random things about me like a year ago, thinking of 11 more on top of that is a daunting task.
•  I really want to spend Christmas in Hawaii next year. (Mom, Dad, Kelley, whoever else in the fam would come out..what do you think eh eh eh?)
• My favorite color is purple (before it was JB's signature color)
• I love me some sunshine and summer. It can't come soon enough.
• If I didn't feel some sort of obligation to my future, I'd drop out of school. I've never been the academic type.
• I watch a haugen creative wedding video nearly everyday. 
• I want Courtney on the bachelor to win. Everybody boo me now, but I feel like her a Ben deserve each other. Holla if you're excited for Emily's season!
• I wish I actually tried to learn Spanish when I was in it. I dream about being fluent one day. I want to go on a mission, and I'd be so so happy if I went Spanish speaking. Gift of tongues right thurrr.

1. If you were endowed with one super power, what would it be?

- EASY. Teleporting, for 2 reasons. A) I love to travel, hello free traveling! B) I'm lazy, hello never having to drive or walk anywhere!

2. What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?

-Check my email, in hopes that my teachers canceled class. I should probably start praying first thing...

3. What is one food that you will not eat?

-Seafood. Well that's more than one food, but ya know whatever.

4. Why did you start blogging?

- Because I went to London, and I had to for a class. 

5. If you had to spend a day not using any technology, what would you do?

-Ummmmm. Become one with nature or something. Or take a really long nap. Or eat food all day.

6. If you could be a cartoon character, who would you want to be?

-Mickey Mouse... who doesn't want to be the face of Disney?!?

7. When was the last time you cried?

-Wednesday. I went to court. It was a frustrating experience.

8. Favorite smell?

-Treats in the oven.

-Ummmm, even though my hair is out of control most of the time, I kinda like it. Also my laugh.

-Chomping on food (sorry if I've ever done that around you, please forgive)

11. What's one thing in your life now, that you never would have never predicted in your past?

-I would have never thought I would love teaching as much as I do...I don't know I think there are a lot of things in my life I would have never predicted.

Food For Thought

Sometimes All the time, I love pick me ups. That's why reading this over and over each year never gets old.

It's Love

I know, I know. I'm a bad blogger. I used to be good. Not so much anymore. It's a laziness thing. Any who I moved out, and I'm in love with my roommate Danielle. Not a creepy lesbian love, but ya know I just genuinely lucked out living with randoms (I was about to have a panic attack before I moved out cause I was so nervous I would have weird smelly roommates). She's from Brazil and is exactly like Gloria on modern family. My life is complete.

This is us on her Birthday. And now we're off to Tucanos.

New Year

2011 (In no particular order):

It was probably my favorite year to date. I mean I spent a good 6 months of the year traveling whether it was to Vegas, Australia, or London I seemed to always be somewhere doing something. It was a year I realized that family, and friends are the stuff of life. It didn't really matter so much what I was doing, but rather who I was with and what experiences we were having together. It was the year I realized I LOVE people, and even though I find myself sometimes saying I hate people, it's really not true. I'm a people person, and my life would be an awfully lonely place without people in it. So here's to 2011 and all the people from that year.


2012
The year the Mayan calendar ends...and the world, or something like that. I'm not one for New Years resolutions, because you can make goals anytime of the year, but since it's a good excuse to party with friends and family and eat loads of food, I enjoy the holiday. So happy New Years everyone. Unlike the Mayans, I have a good feeling about this year.

And even though I don't like New Year's resolutions (because lets be honest they only last the month of January) I thought this message was perfect.

School

I contemplate dropping out on a daily basis, and then I remind myself I only have a year and a half left. It's a love hate relationship.

Because I physically can't study, this is what I do in the library.

I'm just keeping my head above water at this point.

I couldn't agree more with that statement. All I have left is finals, and then bring on CHRISTMAS. The best holiday ever.

Tis the season

ABC Family's 25 days of Christmas has officially begun. Tis the season! I LOVE Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nothing screams fun like eating turkey with my parents and the missionaries. In all honesty I'd rather be eating Chinese takeout and watching the OC by myself. But I'm GRATEFUL my parents are kind souls and are willing to feed the missionaries, because I hope someone is feeding this girl. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and try not to feel too bad for me. I promise I have a LOT to be grateful for.

writers block

I have hit a writers block. I don't know what to write about anymore, hence I haven't blogged. This blog has been a blog of my adventures over the last 10 months, and now I'm in a routine: school and work. No one wants to hear that I double dipped on a project at work (that one is for you Ryan) and no one wants to hear about my failures at school. I frankly am just not fun anymore. My free-spirited self has a normal routine. Should I quit boring life and go on an adventure again? Why can't I settle down? Is something wrong with me? Okay I'm done, but if I'm MIA for a while you'll know it's because I've become boring.

The best time of year...

Goodbye October, you will always be my second favorite month, I love the fall colors, the walks up the canyon, the Halloween festivities. I love everything about you (except midterms, and yes I got a solid F on one yesterday...lowest grade I've ever got in the testing center; oh well there is a first for everything I suppose). But now it's time to celebrate the best time of year, and no I'm not referring to winter. CHRISTMAS and THANKSGIVING, two of the best holidays of the year. I seriously cannot wait. I'm crying tears of joy that it's this time of year again. And there is no better way to start the holiday festivities then with this guy.

I hiked the Y. For the first time in my life. Does that make me a true cougar?? I think it does. This lovely lady showed me the ropes. She's basically a pro; she hikes it like every weekend.
